RESEARCH

Our research aims to address key unanswered questions of how tumour stroma regulates immune activity from early stages of disease and covers three main areas:

  • Identifying the mechanisms of stromal-mediated immune dysfunction from the earliest step of tumour development

  • Understanding how stromal cells operate in tumour draining lymph nodes as a tumour develops

  • Identifying mechanisms of resistance, treatment responses and novel therapeutic strategies to target the tumour stroma

Our goal is to exploit this knowledge towards the development of methods for early detection, risk stratification, therapy, and ultimately patient benefit
